About Our Science Classes

Here's more than you probably want to know about us...
 
There are about 135 of us in Mrs. Richert's eighth grade science classes.  We are an integrated science classroom where all disciplines of science are studied with an emphasis on learning science process skills.  Labs and activities are a large part of our curriculum, and conducting inquiry labs is what we are focusing on this semester.

Mrs. Richert is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado where she earned her B.A. in Biological Science Education.  She also completed her masters degree at Southwest Oklahoma State University in Secondary Education.  She is a National Board Certified Teacher in Adolescent and Young Adulthood science.
She currently has eighteen years experience teaching middle and high school students.
